Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga is one of the 8 limbs of Raja Yoga which is the path to enlightenment as laid out by the sage Patanjali Maharishi in his Yoga Sutras. Hatha yoga is the third limb of the path and is the practice of the asanas or postures which aim to purify the body and so too the mind. Also included within the practice are mudras (gestures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and kriyas (cleansing techniques). Practicing hatha yoga balances the body and the mind. The word itself is made from two words representing two opposing forces; ha meaning sun and tha meaning moon; thus depicting how the practice incorporates working with opposing forces to create balance. Hatha yoga combines exertion with complete surrender and is ideal for those seeking good health and fitness.

Yoga Teacher Lara Williamson
Lara Williamson is a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher, and is registered with the British School of Yoga with whom she qualified following her studies at King Alfred’s College, Winchester, where she achieved an honours degree in Sports Studies and Psychology. Lara has been practicing yoga for 14 years including Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyenga styles of yoga. Lara teaches a Satyananda style of yoga, which takes a holistic approach. Satyananda yoga covers asana, pranayama, and internal cleansing techniques as well as the more meditative practices of Raja, Kundalini, Jnana, and Kriya yogas. Lara’s classes include pranayama (breathing practices), asana practice (practice of the postures), deep relaxation and meditation.

Our main aim at Etricor is to help you relax. All the meals are vegan but do please ask us about any special requirements, or any other questions you might have.
Prices
Weekend prices include accomadation, food, yoga practise and meditaion. £200 (deposit of 50% payable on booking, balance to be payed 7 days prior to arrival or pay full balance on booking) we can accept credit cards through paypal, personal cheques or bank transfers. We aim to be flexible, so speak to us about payment terms.
